STEP Biblically provides scripture references and Christian activities that correlate to the acclaimed
Systematic Training for Effective Parenting (STEP) program offered by
STEP Publishers
The STEP program helps parents build more positive, satisfying relationships with their children. The STEP Biblically supplemental materials:
- show the “how-to” of effective parenting with a Biblical perspective
- provide Biblical references that serve as the basis for the skills taught in the STEP program
- help parents better understand the unique challenges that Christian parents face today
- help Christian educators provide a more comprehensive ministry to families
Authored by Reverend Michael Bortel, STEP Biblically includes two supplements:
STEP Biblically is suggested for:
- parent education programs at churches
- community outreach programs
- teachers and other adults who work with children in a Christian setting
- Bible camp counselors
- STEP leaders interested in adding a Biblical component to their parenting program
You must have a STEP kit to use the STEP Biblically materials. Each parent also needs both the biblical Parent Workbook and the corresponding STEP Parent’s Handbook.
